Chantal Cropp

Dip Nat, Dip Herb Med, Dip Nut.
Growing up on a country farm, near the Hunua ranges, NZ has instilled a holistic way of living for Chantal. From a very young age she has felt a connection with the essence of nature - the feeling that everything is linked; and everything that we experience is an opportunity to learn and grow.

We all experience emotional, mental and physical imbalances – it is our human nature. Chantal believes that self-awareness is the key to healing ourselves, to come back into balance. Chantal’s quest for knowledge started as a teenager when discovering that something as simple as drinking pure water can dramatically improve health.

Graduating from Wellpark College in 2009 with three Diploma’s – Naturopathy, Nutrition and Herbal Medicine, Chantal believes that the synergy between nature and the human organism is magic. Beginning with food, which is our daily medicine. Its easy and pleasurable to eat quality, organic food, and Chantal is especially excited about superfoods and live food cuisine. We literally are what we eat, so when you eat vibrant alive food, you glow with vibrant health.

Chantal is humbled to assist people in their transformation, from dis-ease to ease, effectively with Herbal Medicine and New Native flower essences. Supporting the body, mind and spirit on the healing journey.

Karen White
karen white.jpgKaren is thrilled to join the dedicated team of health professionals at the Herbal Dispensary and serve the Raglan community, with regards to health concerns and sustaining wellness. Graduating from Westminster University [London] with a First Class Honours Degree [BSc] Herbal Medicine, she also holds a Diploma in Cranio-Sacral Therapy and has over 10 years clinical experience.

Working within a variety of clinical settings, including fertility, cancer and HIV, has enriched her therapeutic skills and appreciation of wholeness. Her therapeutic interaction, is to facilitate clients understanding of their individual experience and work with their ‘inner resources’, with the appreciation that the body’s natural expression is to seek health, rather than focusing on the dis-ease process itself. Karen prescribes personalised herbal formulas in conjunction with dietary and lifestyle recommendations and combines this with cranio-sacral therapy to optimise health and well-being.

Karen is a member of the New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists [NZAMH] and Pacific Association of Cranio-Sacral Therapists [PACT] and is dedicated to continued professional development to enhance her knowledge and to offer the best care to her clients. She has a deep understanding of her profession, having been course co-ordinator at the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy and clinical skills supervisor at Westminster University.

A born traveller, Karen moved to Waikato last year with her husband and runs a successful practice in Hamilton. Purchasing their home recently near Raglan, she feels humbled to finally put down ‘roots’ in an environment that resonates with her ethos of wholeness and sustainability.

Jemma Scott

Having recently returned to Raglan to join the team at the Herbal Dispensary, Jemma is a qualified Medical Herbalist and has spent over seven years working in health and organic skincare in New Zealand and abroad.
Jemma has learned the most effective route to establishing and maintaining health and wellbeing is through balanced nutrition and lifestyle habits. Herbal Medicine is an extension of this and she is grateful to be a part of a more sustainable and locally supporting environment where a range of elements… from the garden to skincare and nutritious wholefoods through to the Nourish Health Clinic are offered.
After a long history with severe eczema, and after little success with prescription medication, Jemma realised that natural remedies were much more effective. After developing an interest in healing chronic skin ailments and making her own remedies, she co-launched Mamakuka healing balms in Wellington in 2010. Jemma enjoys tailoring remedies to suit your individual needs,  skin care is fast becoming her speciality. She assists in developing and expanding the herbal skin care range available at The Herbal Dispensary.
Mamakuka Healing Balms made by Jemma are now available at the Herbal Dispensary

Jocelyn-Rochelle Stewart
Jocelynsml2.jpgProduce Manager
I grew up in the fertile Waikato town of Te Awamutu, out in the country with a huge vegetable garden, fruit trees and vines. My parents instilled my passion for eating straight from the garden, preserving and eating seasonally. After a traumatic experience in my mid-twenties whilst living in the South Island, I became aware of Herbal Medicine and Bach-flower remedies which I started to then use. My desire to study to become a Medical Herbalist became a reality when I moved back up North and began studies at ‘The Waikato Centre of Herbal Medicine’ in 2004. I wish to inform people of the choices available re their health and wellbeing, and urge them to take their health into their own hands. We are each our own healers, gaining insights from the shared knowledge of others we meet on our path. By being aware of our whole-self make-up: spiritual, physical and emotional, we are better equipped to assess and balance any irregularities in any of these areas. I love good, organic food, herbal medicines, supplements and skincare and am passionate about singing the praises of the benefits of choosing them to really live your life well
